Straight Probe

A straight probe is a single-crystal transducer where sound waves are incident perpendicularly and make direct contact with the workpiece being tested.

● Features
(1) The probe housing is made of wear-resistant stainless steel.
(2) The probe tip has a wear-resistant protective surface, ensuring a long service life.
(3) It has good acoustic impedance matching with most metal materials.
(4) Three types of probes are available to meet most testing requirements: "PL" general-purpose series, "PH" narrow pulse series, and "C" piezoelectric composite ceramic series.

● Applications
(1) Metal workpieces with simple structures.
(2) Large plates, bars, billets, forgings, castings, and various metals and non-metals.
(3) Small tanks, pipes, castings, and bars.
(4) Layered and stacked structure testing.
(5) Material sound velocity and characteristic testing.
(6) Coarse-grained or high-attenuation materials testing.
