Contact-type high-frequency probes
Direct-contact high-frequency probes refer to single-chip transducers with frequencies higher than 20MHz.

● Performance Characteristics
1. Contact-type high-frequency probes have integrated delay blocks.
2. Frequency range: 20~50MHz
3. Wideband narrow pulse performance, excellent near-surface resolution and longitudinal and lateral resolution.
4. Extremely small focal spot diameter at the near field or focal point.
5. Contact-type probes are by default side-mounted Microdot interfaces.

● Applications
1. Micro-cracks on surfaces.
2. Defects requiring high-resolution detection, such as micro-cracks or porosity.
3. Depending on ideal surface conditions, temperature, and excitation source settings, in steel, a 50MHz probe can detect thicknesses as thin as 0.05mm (0.0019in.) in thickness measurement mode.
