Immersion High-Frequency Probes
Immersion high-frequency probes refer to single-crystal transducers with frequencies higher than 20MHz, and are divided into immersion type and immersion autofocus type.
● Performance Characteristics
1. Immersion type has an integrated delay block; immersion autofocus type does not have a delay block or lens.
2. Frequency range: 20~50MHz
3. Wideband narrow pulse performance, excellent near-surface resolution and longitudinal and lateral resolution.
4. Extremely small focal spot diameter at near-field or focal point.
5. Immersion type and immersion autofocus type default to top-mounted UHF interface.
● Applications
1. Micro-cracks on surfaces
2. Defects requiring high-resolution detection, such as micro-cracks or pores
3. Depending on ideal surface conditions, temperature, and excitation source settings, in steel, a 50MHz probe can detect thicknesses as thin as 0.05mm (0.0019in.) in thickness measurement mode.
4. Ultrasonic microscopy
