The CCE-2 consists of an encoder, a clamp, and a handle. Compared to its predecessor, the encoder's cable end is now oriented upwards, increasing its lifespan. The clamp has a maximum width of 50mm and can hold wedges ranging from 22mm to 50mm in width.

An ergonomic handle has been added for improved comfort. Pre-drilled holes in the handle allow for cable attachment, reducing cable interference with probe coupling.
The encoder now features an axial mounting option. In spaces with limited space, the handle can be detached for use.
