From December 2 to 4, 2025, the 26th Shanghai International Metallurgical Industry Exhibition was successfully held at the Shanghai New International Expo Centre. The event was jointly organized by the All-China Metallurgical Chamber of Commerce, Baoshan Iron & Steel Co., Ltd., China Refractories Industry Association, Steel Pipe Branch of China Steel Construction Society, Industrial Furnace Branch of Chinese Mechanical Engineering Society, Jiangsu Metallurgical Industry Association, Shanghai Society for Metals, Shanghai Steel Pipe Industry Association, and Tianjin Wire Products Industry Association.
First launched in 1986, the Shanghai International Metallurgical Industry Exhibition is one of the earliest iron and steel metallurgical events held in China. With over 30 years of development, it has evolved into seven themed exhibitions covering metallurgy, refractory materials, casting and forging, steel pipe industry, metal wire and rod, industrial furnace thermal engineering, and non-ferrous metals. Spanning from industrial production to end applications, it precisely targets professional audiences across diverse application fields.

Doppler's Exhibition Participation

Doppler attended the exhibition with its advanced phased array ultrasonic online automatic testing system for bars.Designed with full automation, the equipment integrates ultrasonic flaw detection, dimension measurement, defect marking, intelligent sorting and other functions. 1. Simplified mechanical structure
The phased array equipment features a relatively simple mechanical structure with low mechanical wear, reduced maintenance costs and a low failure rate.
2.High testing efficiency
Compared with the mechanical rotation mode, the multi-group concave array electronic scanning realizes 360° full coverage of bars. The bars do not need to rotate during inspection, which better adapts to the on-line transmission speed of bar materials.
3. Flexible application
The concave array phased array probe can precisely control the focusing depth, deflection angle and beam width, enabling high-efficiency specification switching. Specification replacement and commissioning of phased array ultrasound are extremely convenient and efficient. Testing parameters for each specification can be electronically stored and directly called for reuse without repeated probe adjustment.

Focusing of multi-element ultrasonic beams improves testing sensitivity and signal-to-noise ratio with high sound beam density, delivering superior detection results. The rapid sequential excitation of multiple elements in the phased array probe generates a radiation sound field equivalent to the mechanical continuous displacement and deflection of single-element probes, greatly enhancing testing reliability and consistency.
