2025 Far East NDT New Technology Conference Successfully Held

The 2025 Far East NDT New Technology Conference was grandly held in Wuhan, Hubei Province from June 23 to 26, 2025, with the theme of "Artificial Intelligence Empowers Nondestructive Testing (NDT.ai)".

Professor Tu Shandong, Member of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, served as the Conference Chairman. Professor Kirill Horoshenkov, Fellow of the Royal Academy of Engineering, took on the role of Chairman of the Conference Academic Committee and delivered the keynote address.


Excellent Presentations


       The conference was a spectacular and well-attended event, gathering numerous top experts and scholars across the industry. A total of 22 professional academic sessions (including sub-forums) were elaborately arranged, covering core fields such as photoacoustic and ultrasonic technologies, cutting-edge nuclear power applications, and TFM phased array ultrasonic testing.

Doppler’s engineering team took an active part in the event and delivered keynote speeches at multiple sub-forums. With professional insights and innovative achievements, the team contributed strong academic momentum to the conference.

Competition Contest

 

Concurrent with the conference, a special NDT challenge competition was organized, focusing on four core objectives: driving technological innovation to advance new NDT technologies, inspiring instrument R&D to promote the intelligent upgrading of testing equipment, cultivating professional elites by encouraging frontline technicians to polish their skills, and promoting craftsmanship to foster high-skilled talents for the new era.

Doppler's engineering team participated in the competition with the independently developed NovaScan V3, a TFM phased array ultrasonic detector. In the contest, the NovaScan V3 fully demonstrated its rich functional configuration, outstanding operational stability and superior inspection performance.

Exhibition On-site


       An advanced instrument and equipment exhibition area was specially set up during the conference, serving as a vital platform for industry technical exchanges. We appreciate the valuable opportunity provided by the organizer.

NDT equipment from various manufacturers was showcased in the exhibition area. Doppler unveiled its new generation portable TFM phased array ultrasonic detector NovaScan V3 to new customers. Our engineers enthusiastically introduced the functional features and product advantages of the new instrument to leaders and guests on site.
